When should my child have their first visit to the dental office?
Dr. Jackson and Dr. Lemon recommend that children come to our office for their first visit around the age of 3 years old unless parents have concerns early on. We spend this first visit getting to know your child, counting their teeth, introducing them to the dental instruments we use, and acclimating them to the dental office. These early visits are very important and we strive to make them as positive and upbeat as possible. Our goal is to build a relationship with your child so they look forward to future visits and are set up for success at their dental appointments.
