At LJ Dentistry, LLC, we understand that public health situations can be frightening, but we are committed to your safety and your oral health during these trying times. And we have long been advocates of sterilization and utilizing the proper protocols—not only during pandemics but 365 days per year.

Dr. Joseph Jackson has put forward new measures that meet and often exceed public health guidelines to ensure your safety in our dental office in the Quad Cities area.

Infection Control at Our Moline, IL Dentist Office

Our dental office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We rely on medical-grade sterilization protocols and discard all single-use instruments immediately following each patient’s dental visit. We clean and sanitize throughout the day as well—all common areas, patient rooms, and every little nook.

Our staff also follows sanitation protocols, including the use of masks and gloves.

Additional safety measures:

  • Screening patients when they make appointments and again when they arrive in our dental office.
  • Requiring the use of our hand sanitizer upon patient arrival.
  • Removal of all books, magazines, and toys or other items that are difficult to properly disinfect.
  • Social distancing between patients and measures to have fewer patients in the reception area at the same time.
